Manhunt Wiki
This is the story of a ranch that lies between Love, Duty, Trust and Hate. It sits just outside heaven's gate, 'cause every city is hell and the kids were paid in blood. God lies, kids. Nature will kill. It's a ranch where sinners don't expect forgiveness, and a man leaves alone with his demons. Soon, listen for the blood, listen for the bell at 5 Past High Noon.

5 Past High Noon is a Western Drama TV series produced by Kreuger Enterprises Inc. and broadcast by the TV-MK network, appearing in Manhunt 2.

Description[]

The show is about the life of a cowboy in a dangerous land, recorded in the TV-MK Studios.

The show's set is located in the very last studio room in the building with the set of a saloon and western styled interiors, and is also filmed in the entire backyard area with a church, a barn, a old house and a mill. A projector can be found with a trailer for the program in the in-door studio, in which Daniel Lamb can play it.

While the TV show plays no major role in the storyline, the keywords "Love, Duty, Trust and Hate" are a clear nod to the brainwashing session of Pickman Bridge experiment, also alluding to TV-MK's links to The Project.

During the early stages of development, the TV show was titled Heartbreak Haystacks[1], whose name still hinted at a rural setting. At the same time, the in-house filming studio was originally intended for a sitcom titled That BITCH Next Door!, explaining the "sitcom" signage and modern bedrooms found as leftovers in the final design of the studio interior.

After the latter show was cut, the studio was repurposed for the Western TV show, although it was only partially redesigned for the farm setting.

Trivia[]

  • The trailer is not a pre-rendered video, but a collection of 2D sprites moving out of boundaries, behind the walls of the TV-MK Studio 1.[2][3]
  • In the original PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2 versions, an edited promotional image of Red Harlow from Rockstar San Diego's Red Dead Revolver was used to depict the unnamed cowboy protagonist in the TV show trailer.[4][5] The character was later replaced by a realistic cowboy in the later versions.[2]
    • A realistic stock image of a hangman pole is used in the TV show trailer, suggesting the cut Enviromental Execution for the Hangman Pole was performed in one of the show's sets.
