Assassination is the eighth episode in Manhunt 2, taking place at the Maibatsu Plaza in City Center, Cottonmouth.

Plot Summary

Daniel assassinates a Project investor with the help of Leo in the Maibatsu Plaza. The Project Militia responds to the scene and tries to kill Daniel and Leo.

Episode

Introduction

The group of Project Militia mercenaries are seen running towards a dead body in front of the Project Offices at the Plaza. One of them warns the of the mercenaries inside the building to lock the building to make sure nobody gets in or out. The death of the investor is confirmed by one the mercs, who immediatelly calls for backup and gives orders to find and kill the assassin.

Project Offices

Meanwhile in windows of the Project Offices, the assassin Daniel Lamb is watching everything from the scope of his Sniper Rifle, where he informs Leo that the target is dead. The mercenaries spots Daniel in the building and a Police Maverick is dispatched to look for the windows, causing the duo to flee the scene.

Leo with Daniel's Sniper Rifle in his hands, makes his way through the corridor of the offices. He has the option to destroy the lights in the corridor to surprise the incoming mercenaries. After the floor is cleared, Leo gets onto a window cleaning platform at the side of the building and uses it to lift him up to the upper floors and the rooftop.

On the rooftop of the building, the Police Maverick is seen flying around the Plaza buildings. Leo must make his way through a number of armed mercenaries and snipers, while avoiding getting caught by the Police Maverick searchlight.

Construction Site

Eventually, Leo reaches a building under construction in the end. He heads downstairs, killing a whole team of Project mercenaries on the way to the first floor, before escaping in a sewer manhole in the rear side of the building, escaping from the Plaza to safety and ending the episode.
