The Baseball Bat [1] is a red class weapon in Manhunt 2.

Description[]

This bloody sports implement packs more of a punch thanks to the metal chains wrapped on it that grant it extra weight to its strikes. With enough strength, a killer like Daniel Lamb and Leo Kasper can smash skulls into pieces with one fell swoop of this club. Despite this, it is a weak melee weapon in combat.

Just like the previous game, the Bat can be swung around a corner while pressing against cover. Rather than stun the hunter, a successful attack will knock them down to the floor and keep them there for approx. 5 seconds before they recover. While downed, the player can beat them down, killing them if their health's low enough. If the hits done to them while downed aren't lethal, then they will stand up uninterrupted, even if this Player is in the middle of hitting them. Although they can't be executed while downed, they can be during the short interval that appears after they recover and stand up, but this can only be exploited if the player stands away from them in a certain distance.

The Bat still has the ability to smash open heads both in executions and outside of them. Beyond executions, the player can use the Bat to destroy heads on bodies via simply standing on top of the head area before pressing the fire/punch/execute button, causing the player to strike down on the head and smashing it for needless defilement.
