The Baseball Bat with Spikes is an unused red class weapon in Manhunt and Manhunt 2. It is one of many Baseball Bat variants. It cannot be obtained by normal means.

Description[]

The Baseball Bat with Spikes can only be found during Doing Time, and is located in the locked shower room. In the unlockable concept art of the Camheds, they are seen carrying this weapon.

Executions[]

All variants of the Baseball Bat share the same animation with no differences whatsoever.

Type Description
Hasty The player swings his bat across the target's occiput, forcing them to face backward for the next swing across their face, killing them.
Violent The target looks behind them to see the player thrusting the bat towards their gut, making them double over and kneel in pain. They look up to see the player slamming the bat down on their skull, killing them.
Gruesome The player strangles the target with the bat within an inch of their life, falling to their knees. The player steps back and swings the bat at their head, smashing their skull to pieces.

Manhunt 2[]

The Baseball Bat with Spikes was meant to return in Manhunt 2 but it was cut before the game released. The model can be found on Bees' Honey Pot's files on PSP 0.01 and the PS2 beta but it doesn't appear on the level itself.[1][2]

Trivia[]

  • In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it can be found in the game files (Model name: "cj_bbat_nails.dff"). Moreover, this model uses the "dirt64b" texture. This model, along with other Manhunt weapon models, are stored in the gta_int.img file and was originally intended as an interior prop rather than a melee weapon.
