Carcer City Library is an abandoned public library in Manhunt located in Carcer Mark, Carcer City.
Description[]
The building has three floors, however, only the cellar is accessible. The cellar features some corpses hanging from the ceiling, a pile of bricks, and a few crates. Walking normally on the pile of bricks will cause noises and can be heard by the Hoods. The ground level and second floor of the library can be seen through the hole on the ceiling. A couple of spotlights are visible on the ground level.
Events of Manhunt[]
The library first appears during Road to Ruin, where James Earl Cash is instructed by the director to make his way to the building's cellar, which is patrolled by the Hoods. The entrance door is locked and the player must break the padlock on the door to get inside. Inside the cellar, Cash fights the remaining Hoods and runs off the scene through the second exit, only to be captured by the Cerberus shortly after. The library does not appear again after the scene.
Bonus Scenes[]
The library appears during the bonus scene Hard as Nails, where the player is locked inside the library cellar with no ability to get outside. There are many gas cans and explosive barrels, and the hanging corpses are replaced by the bodies of Piggsy. Ammo for the Nail Gun respawns over time if it was picked up.
