Carcer City Mall is an abandoned shopping mall located in East Los Albos, Carcer City, that appears in Manhunt.
Description[]
It is an unnamed multi-story shopping mall. There are various defunct stores located in the mall, including clothing stores, food stores, pet stores, chemists, bars and laundromats. At some point before 2003, the Innocentz have claimed it as their turf and armed gang members patrol its many floors.
Events of Manhunt[]
After James Earl Cash rescues his family at the Carcer City Zoo, he is tasked by the director Lionel Starkweather to find and watch a special work-in-progress video recording. The director hid the tape and a video camera at the abandoned mall. Cash gets a gun inside a laundromat and fights his way to the video tape, killing many Innocentz members in his way.
Eventually, Cash finds the video tape in a recording store, and a video camera in a toy store. Cash gets the camera and finds out that the camera is broken, the director tells Cash to find a television in a bar.
Cash views the video, which shows an Innocentz member taunting the camera before decapitating Cash's relative gruesomely. Enraged, Cash shatters the television set on which he was watching the tape, while Starkweather claims that he could never have allowed Cash's family free after they saw a production of his snuff film, confirming that Cash's family are all dead and that Cash had no way of saving them.
