Description[]
The Carcer City News studio is only seen during the cutscenes of Born Again and Deliverance. The location of the studio is unknown and it does not appear physically during the storyline. The news are presented by an unnamed Journalist.
Events of Manhunt[]
In Born Again, the news broadcast shows the execution of James Earl Cash, who was sentenced to death three years ago. However, he was saved by Lionel Starkweather - the figurehead of a snuff film ring operating in Carcer City - and is set to be the protagonist of his next film. To take down Starkweather, the Journalist plans to use Cash's testimony.
Later during Border Patrol, the news team including the Journalist are outside Starkweather's Estate in Wapona Hills, however Starkweather refuses to comment of her allegations about him.
In Deliverance, the news broadcast does a news bulletin about the Starkweather's death, along with several of his bodyguards at his estate in Wapona Hills, thus discovered the snuff film ring being run from the estate's confines. The evidence found on his estate exposes the corruption of the Carcer City Police chief Gary Schaffer without a doubt.
