The Carcer City Police Station is a cut location originally scheduled to appear in Manhunt.

Description[]

The Police Station itself should be functional rathen than grand, more downtown than town hall. The cops act edgy when the Police chief walks in unexpectedly; he doesn't usually visit them.

During the game's early development circa 2000, the Carcer City Police Station building was intended to used as reference the Midtown North (18th) Precinct NYPD station located at 306 West 54th Street in Manhattan, New York City.[1] It is one of the many reference points originally intended for Carcer City that ended up being reused for Rockstar North's Grand Theft Auto III instead – reused for the building models of Portland Police Station and Shoreside Vale Police Station.

The Midtown North Precinct doors are used for an unnamed white building in Central, across the street from the Chips Casino. However, the building itself is not identified as a police station in-game.
