History

Events of Manhunt 2

Circa 2001

After the burning of Daniel's and Leo's files, Leo tells Daniel to wait for him in the old safe house while Leo goes to the Wooddale Community Enclave to deal with “unfinished business” by himself. His arrival at the calm and peaceful neighborhood causes a Domestic Disturbance as a team of five regular cops with mere nightsticks (and the assistance of an attack helicopter with a searchlight) patrol the area for the serial killer said to them by the APB. Depending on the player, Leo either kills or evades these cops so that he can escape the area by cutting through a fence with Pliers, but an e-mail by Dr. Whyte states that he managed to do the latter.

Circa 2007

Once Lamb reaches a balcony overlooking a Velvet Glove store in a section of the Red Light district, he sees two cops brutally beating a Red King to death with nightsticks. Should these cops spot Danny, they will realize that he matches the suspect description and try to make the arrest...brutally. The fates of these cops are up to the player who can kill or evade them on the way to the adult store.

• An oddity with the 2nd police officer is that the African-american C.M.P.D. officer is referred to as a "Swat" member, if checking the speech file in Red Light level folder. He also has swat voicelines.
