Cottonmouth Special Weapons and Tactics is the Cottonmouth Police Department's police tactical unit.
Background[]
The Cottonmouth SWAT is most likely composed of several teams, perhaps even divisions, all being apart of the Cottonmouth Police Department. The SWAT are sent in for special and tactical operations or high risk/danger crimes that require appropriate attention other than simply police officers.
The SWAT members in Manhunt 2 replicate the generic 'SWAT officers' that any person would think about.

Relationships[]
With The Project[]
It is assumed that the CSWT does not have any correlation with The Project itself. It's assumed they weren't let on what they were dealing with, other than the fact that he was highly dangerous, stealthy and deadly.
With Daniel, Leo, and the manhunt[]
The CSWT only appear in a flashback. It is presumed that the (remaining) SWAT teams weren't aware of the Manhunt itself happening as outside of Domestic Disturbance, barely ANY police or SWAT members are seen. It is also worth noting that instead of the PD professionally handling the hunt for Daniel Lamb, it were The Watchdogs.

History[]
Events of Manhunt 2[]
- Main article: Domestic Disturbance
At 12:51 AM, the night of the malfunction of a certain subject's Bridge, the APB has alerted the CMPD and their SWAT teams to the Wooddale Community Enclave, the next location of Leo Kasper who was the “assassin” of Stanley Grex who was killed at the Maibatsu Plaza. Once Leo scours a neighborhood for a pair of Pliers to cut open the fence behind a house, two patrolling SWAT officers stumble upon Leo, alerting other units to him. Thus Leo evades the SWAT and a police chopper on his way to the Lamb residence where he deals with his “unfinished business” without them stopping him. Their failure was detailed in an e-mail written by Dr. Whyte who sent it to Dr. Pickman.[1]
Episode of Appearances[]
Just like their CCPD counterpart in the first game, the CMPD SWAT have the least amount of appearances, starring in only one episode.
