The tramp! Where's the fucking tramp, Cash?
―The director not seeing the tramp when entering any of the gates.

Drunk Driving is the ninth scene in Manhunt. This scene introduces a new minor character to escort. The scene takes place in East Los Albos, Carcer City.

Plot Summary[]

The director has a surprise for Cash, Cash has to escort the tramp to the exit of the graveyard, with The Innocentz guarding.

Scene[]

Introduction[]

The director has a surprise or "some company" for Cash because Cash is always alone, unfortunately the one of the Innocentz thought it is better if they locked "him" up in a cell. The director tells Cash to bust the Innocent out.

Cell[]

Cash baits the Innocent and executes him with a Knife he left, the Innocent drops a Sickle. A buzz sound came out, meaning the cell door has been unlocked. Cash checks to the jail cell and meets a homeless man named tramp. The director introduces the tramp to Cash, the director asks Cash what he thinks about his "new friend", he says Cash and tramp look really good being together. Director says that he will open any gates if the tramp is with Cash, alive and healthy, the director tells Cash to get going, make him entertain. tramp starts to follow Cash wherever he goes, Cash can command him to stop or follow.

First Gate[]

After the alleyways, Cash finds one Innocent. If the Innocent spots the tramp, the hunter will try to hunt the tramp. Cash can defend tramp by fighting the Innocent. Cash and the tramp progresses their way to the first gate.

Second Gate[]

Cash commands the tramp to stop and stay in the shadows, Cash finds three Innocentz hanging by the fire barrel in the middle of the street. Cash executes the trio, gets the tramp to follow him to the next gate inside a derelict house.

Third Gate[]

Cash finds another three Innocentz near the busses, Cash goes to execute them. Cash goes to a stairs leading to a bathroom, an Innocent jumps out to the scene from the shadows, jumpscares. Cash hides and execute the Innocent when he lost Cash. Cash goes back to the tramp, commands him to follow Cash, gets to the third gate inside the bathroom.

Fourth Gate[]

Outside the bathroom, Cash commands the tramp to hide once again. Cash spots three Innocentz hanging by the fire in a burnt house. Cash executes the trio. Cash gets back to the tramp, commands him to follow to the next gate near outside the burnt house.

Fifth Gate[]

The duo gets to a graveyard near the street. An Innocent jumps from the shadows, jumpscares. Cash goes hide to lose his tail on the Innocent, and kills the Innocent. Cash spots another Innocent with a Sawn Off Shotgun, Cash kills the Innocent to get the weapon. Another Innocent with a Sawn Off, Cash shoots the Innocent. Gets back to the tramp and commands to follow him to the next gate.

Final Gate[]

Many of Innocentz spotted Cash in the graveyard, a shooting combat happens. Cash shoots all of the Innocentz while trying to protect the tramp from dying. Cash gets the tramp to follow him to the final gate, and then the scene ends to the next scene, Graveyard Shift.

  • Find a shotgun then take the tramp to the old tomb

Trivia[]

  • In this particular story scene, Cash is given a starting weapon (the Knife) that wasn't brought through from the previous one.
  • Starkweather tells Cash to go inside an abandoned house and go through a pedestrian tunnel during the level, this part of the scene was cut during the development.
  • Wire or Machete can be spawned in this scene and can be used to fight with. However, using them to execute hunters will crash the game. This happens due to the severed head was removed from the scene's files.
  • Drunk Driving's soundtracks are similar to the opening intro or titles from starting the game, noticeable from the "Spotted" or "Combat" variations. [1]
  • The player is unable to hurt the tramp.
  • "Drunk Driving" is a crime in which a person is driving under the influence of alcohol, which is dangerous to other drivers and pedestrians. It's a reference to the objective of the scene where Cash has to usher a drunk tramp to the exit.
