Time for a little overtime! Make your way through the factory!
Director

Graveyard Shift is the 10th scene featured in Manhunt.

Plot Summary[]

James Earl Cash kills many Innocentz hunter members to the foyer in a factory for a "job well done".

Scene[]

Introduction[]

The director tells Cash to enter the factory by pulling a lever and enter from the loading bay, with a camera moves to the places.

Guard Hut[]

Cash gets upstairs, killing one Innocent hunter on the sidewalk, two more Innocentz idling around in the middle of the streets. Cash tries to get to the other side of the street to find anything to unlock the loading bay. Reaching the guard hut, a large gate opens entering four Innocentz ready to kill Cash. Cash kills the four of them, enters the guard hut and finds a lever, he pulls the lever down and opens the gate that was blocking the loading bay's entrance. The director tells Cash to enter the factory, and exit through the foyer for a "job well done." Cash enters the factory by the loading bay.

Loading Bay[]

Cash finds four Innocentz in the loading bay, these Innocentz spots Cash. Cash shoots four of them and gets his way to the lift.

Lift[]

Cash enters to the lift, finding out that it is broken due to power loss, the director tells Cash that there is a way to get the lift functional again by a circuit breaker located in the basement. The Innocentz are in the basement and there are glasses on the top, if Cash gets over them he will be spotted by the hunters. Cash is able to kill the Innocentz from the above. Cash gets down to the basement, kill the Innocentz and pulls down the circuit breaker to turn the lift on. Cash gets upstairs and pushes a button to get the lift up.

Balcony[]

On the way up, one Innocent hunter comes out and Cash kills him. Cash finds two hunters guarding the balcony, he kills the hunters. Cash gets down and kills two Innocents. Cash finds another functional lift, he pushes the button and gets up to the vent, an Innocent guards the vent so Cash has to kill the hunter. Cash breaks the vent and gets in. A checkpoint hits here.

Foyer[]

Cash drops down from the vent. Cash gets downstairs with five Innocentz to kill. He finds a button to unlock the exit. Two more Innocentz enters the room, Cash kills them and exits the factory.

Ending[]

Trivia[]

  • The player is given only Sawn Off Shotgun with eight bullets when starting the scene.
  • A Plastic Bag, Wire, Can and an idle Innocentz hunter are spawned outside the factory gate.
  • In the end cutscene, Cash has the original Shotgun instead of the Sawn Off Shotgun he had during the start of the scene.
  • In The Warriors, there is a scrapped level which has the same name of this scene. Placed in "Prospect Park" and were the 17th level in the game. Only the loading screen images remain.
  • "Graveyard Shift" is a work shift that runs through the late hours of the night until dawn. It might be a reference to the following:
    • The snuff film taking place at night before dawn comes, as Starkweather tells Cash at the beginning: “Time for a little overtime.”
    • The scene taking place right after Drunk Driving, which ends in a graveyard behind Carcer City Church.
    • The horror motif of the Innocentz who are in this scene. They have the aforementioned graveyard as their turf to fit this.
