The Heavy Sniper, also known as the PSG-1, is a weapon that was cut during the development in Manhunt.
Description[]
The weapon is seen in an early render of Manhunt included in the unlockable concept arts, being held by The Wardogs. The model itself was cut from Manhunt and cannot be found in the files, although the texture was repurposed for the Shotgun's barrels.
The unused PSG-1 model was later ported by Rockstar North prop artist Campbell-John Dick to be used as an interior prop in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.[2] The model uses a "dirt64" texture file instead of the original texture seen in the early screenshot. However, the interior prop was also left unused in the final version of the game.
Other Manhunt models who received the same treatment includes the Assault Rifle (used in one cutscene), Baseball Bat with Spikes and the Sawn Off Shotgun.
