SWAT Control (simply called Control by SWAT officers) is a minor group of characters mentioned in Manhunt.
Background[]
Comprised of multiple police units likely stationed within the CCPD's precinct,[1] Control is presumed to be SWAT's (and perhaps the whole CCPD's) command post. What's only known about Control is that they receive sitreps from all responding police units to be updated on their current operation,[2][3][4][5][6] can command and dispatch auxiliary units such as units for medevac,[7] possess info on the mission (which they seem to never disclose during the manhunt for Cash),[1][8] and they're sometimes spoken to by the police units in the scene for further orders and assistance that they may need.[9][10]

Under the orders of CCPD's police chief Gary Schaffer who was told to shut up about Cash and where he came from by Starkweather, Control has withheld crucial information about the operation from all SWAT officers,[1] who only know that their unnamed target is an insane murdering vagrant[11][12][13] who may have gone postal.[14][15]
It seems that Control is unresponsive when officers like Charlie try to call them for help.[16] It is unknown if this was because of a faulty radio or they intentionally leave officers for dead for a dark reason, perhaps one related to the snuff film ring...
