The Sledgehammer[1] is a red class weapon in Manhunt 2.

Description[]

The Sledgehammer is a powerful tool meant for small scale demolition, such as breaking down walls and doors. This demolition extends to human application as Danny and Leo use it to crush the Project's minions to death.

It is a very powerful melee weapon indeed, able to down a hunter in three hits and finishing them using the same amount. As a Red class melee weapon, it can be utilized to smash heads by standing on top of the right spot on a corpse before hitting it, destroying the head in a gruesome act of desecration.
