(Dog-like growling)
— Smiley 4, at any random moment.

Smiley 4 is a member of the Smileys. His voice actor is unknown.

Background[]

Out of all the mentally ill hunters in Manhunt, he seems to be the worst for wear, as he can barely speak, often spluttering, howling, barking, and snarling as a way of expressing himself.

Nothing is known about him, except the obvious implications that he is mentally ill, and likely got sent to Darkwoods for some form of violent crime, such as murder.

Personality and Mannerisms[]

Smiley 4 is arguably the most mentally unstable out of all the Smileys, next to Fug. He communicates by howling, barking, growling, screeching, gibbering, and making other intangible loud noises. Whenever he is defeated in combat, he begins whimpering in pain, similar to an animal. The only times he can be heard speaking is when he shouts for other Smileys or sees a dead Smiley, or when he's repeating the word "trophy", or saying he wants to "touch" Cash.

Relationships[]

With the Smileys[]

Likely due to his looks, he chose to affiliate with the Smileys when taking over Darkwoods, and killed the guards, leaving him to be free to roam around the prison.

With Valiant Video and the Manhunt[]

Due to his mental illness, he probably does not even know he is affiliated, although he chases/attacks Cash at any given chance.

With Cash[]

Due to his mental disability, he seems to have some sort of uncontrollable dislike for him, chasing down and attacking whenever he spots Cash.

Trivia[]

  • He is the only hunter who has almost entirely illegible voicelines, along with the shortest hunter dialogues.
