Come on over for some Hoods hospitality! Ha ha ha!
―An “affable” Hood welcoming a trespasser on their turf

The Crusher is a member of the Hoods gang in Manhunt.

Background[]

As a member of the Hoods, the Crusher most likely participated in several manhunts produced by Valiant Video.

Personality[]

He puts on a "tough guy" image, acting like a hardened thug who is not to be messed with. He is easily angered, often when losing sight of Cash. He is very territorial, coming to blows with rival gangs.

Relationships[]

Personal Life[]

Like many of the Hoods, he is a smoker. He likes cars, specifically Maibatsu models. Apparently, his motivation for participating in the manhunt is to collect a bounty to buy a new car. He claims to have children, although this may just be him pleading for his life.

With the Hoods[]

Despite this, he will drop his "tough guy" when attacked by Cash, immediately crying for backup. He also tends to hang back if he hears a noise instead of investigating on his own. However, he will defend his Hood "brothers" when faced by a rival gang. Unlike many hunters in Manhunt, he is saddened when he comes across the body of a fellow Hood. He is close enough that he knows their spouses by name.

With Valiant Video and the Manhunt[]

He views his work with Valiant Video as not just a job but a hobby. He appears to collect "souvenirs" from hunts, and places them in a trophy room at his home.

With Cash[]

With what little knowledge he has of Cash, he deduces that he is a murderer and a "washed up" drug addict. He is angered by Cash's ability to hide, demanding him to come out and fight.

Notable Dialogue[]

  • "This asshole's real pissed. I need a hand here!"
  • "Ah, dammit. I sat on my smokes again."
  • "He's ours. Back off" (referencing cut material that would have had the Hoods facing rival gangs)
  • "Leave it to...the Crusher!"
